Contacting the company

Contacting the company is optional: you can read this site without doing so.

To contact the company, use the form on the contact page, or write to the address in the site’s footer.

The contact form collects your first name, last name, email address and message. A notification goes by email to a company mailbox and is sent through Zoho’s SMTP service. Form entries are not stored in the website’s database, so they are not in its backups. They exist only as the notification email.

If you write instead, your email gives the company your email address and whatever you write in it. Mail for the company’s domains is hosted by Zoho, in its EU data centre.

Enquiries are used to reply and to discuss possible work. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: the company’s interest in answering the people who contact it.

Enquiries are kept for one year from the last contact, unless they become an engagement.

Cookies, analytics and local storage

When the site was tested on 5 November 2026, for a visitor who had not signed in, the home, articles and products pages set no cookies in their server responses, and no analytics tag was found on the homepage. The cookie check covered server responses on those three pages, and the analytics check covered the homepage. Neither covered the whole site.

If you choose light or dark mode, that choice is stored in your own browser’s local storage. It is not sent to the company.

On the homepage, fonts and scripts loaded from the same address as the site.

Hosting and backups

The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services in its London region and served through its CloudFront content delivery network (CDN). The company has not turned on CloudFront’s request logging.

The web server keeps standard request logs for routine operation and security, and deletes them after 14 days.

Nightly backups, which include the site database, go to Amazon S3 in the same region and are deleted after 90 days.

The lawful basis for request logs and backups is legitimate interests: protecting the site and keeping it recoverable.

The site’s servers and backups are in the Amazon Web Services London region. Email is held by Zoho in its EU data centre.

Personal data is shared with the company’s suppliers: Amazon Web Services for hosting and backups, and Zoho for email.

Links to other services

Some pages may link to WhatsApp, a service of Meta’s, or to a booking page at meet.release.art, hosted by Zoho, which sets its own cookies. Each has its own terms. If you use one, it collects information of its own, and the company receives what you send. WhatsApp’s privacy policy explains what it collects.

The site also links to the Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce at chambermk.co.uk, which has its own terms.

Your rights

You can ask the company for a copy of your personal data, and ask it to correct or delete that data or restrict its use. You can also object to its use, and ask for your data in a form you can pass to another organisation. To do any of these, write to hello@release.art.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how your personal data is handled, you can complain to the company at hello@release.art. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commission’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
